Assistant Planner
Ethan Senti
Ethan Senti joined McKenna in November 2024 as an Assistant Planner. He collaborates to provide urban and architectural design, and graphic communication support for various design-focused projects.
Previously, his interest in the built environment and its profound effect on people led him to pursue an education in Architecture and Spanish at Southern Illinois University. His design education, combined with his experience living and learning in car-dependent cities, exposed him to how effective planning can mean the difference between thriving and stagnating communities. He is particularly interested in complete streets and non-motorized transportation, and how they can lead to more equitable public spaces.
Motivated by an interest in strengthening his own West Michigan community, Ethan has worked to engage citizens in national, state, and local elections. He also hopes to become involved in efforts to increase the supply of affordable housing accessible to residents of Ottawa County through work at Lakeshore Habitat.
