Hillary Taylor

Hillary is a Senior Planner with many years of experience in the Urban Planning profession and has deep expertise in Zoning. She is a certified Zoning Administrator through the Michigan State University Extension and has worked for numerous communities in various states including Missouri, Wyoming, Washington, and Montana.

Hillary has a professional focus on updating zoning ordinances to better reflect the adopted master plan and the stated goals of the community.  She is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a Master of Urban Planning and Urban Design. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Resource Ecology Management and brings this ecological training to her projects.

Hillary is an advocate for local food banks and worked with other volunteers at a small urban garden to grow food harvested for their local food bank.  Hillary believes the most rewarding part of this profession is seeing a great master plan implemented in a workable zoning ordinance that achieves the goals of the community.
