Jane Dixon, AICP, NCI

Jane is a Principal Planner with extensive experience in the development of comprehensive community master plans, emphasizing sustainability, community engagement, and providing advisory services for day-to-day zoning matters. She holds certification through the National Charrette Institute.

In her role, Jane draws upon her expertise in public engagement, graphic design, and data analytics. Her efficient multitasking abilities and focused approach to project management enable her to foster productive relationships with City leadership. With a solid grounding in municipal management, Jane champions sustainable development practices while aligning them with the broader community vision. She is known for creating clear and accessible documents to enhance resident engagement. Jane is dedicated to improving livability, economic sustainability, and community vibrancy through innovative planning techniques.

Jane holds a Master of Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Michigan’s Taubman College, alongside a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and History from Oakland University.
