Karson Claussen

Karson is a Building Services Manager at McKenna and supports the needs of McKenna’s client communities both administratively and in the field. A Metro Detroit-based construction industry veteran of some 35 years, Karson has largely served municipalities and clients across much of Michigan and western Ohio.

Karson earned his undergraduate degree from Oakland University and his Executive MBA from Michigan State University. Registered in Michigan as a Code Official, Karson is an active Building Official, Inspector, and Plan Reviewer. He belongs to SEMBOIA, OCBOA, and is an active member of the International Code Council.

Outside of work hours, Karson enjoys playing tennis, listening to a wide array of audio books, and as a recent empty nester, plans to travel more with his wife as often as time allows.
